After hours of torrid competition we are down to the final match. The
tension is virtually non-existent as a bunch of mates have a laugh in
the sunshine.

It looks like my comment on breakfast didn't get through. Delicious
breakfast at Didier's.now at the lake for barbecue. 23 degrees with a
breeze, lots of lovely people and great conversation. Mind you I think
we could do with a nap.

We lost 4-2. They were fitter but not more skillful. Very hot and a
hard pitch and French Nic was taken off the pitch in in ambulance.

We're off again !

Tomorrow we're flying to Carcassonne for a weekend of fun and footy.  Timed to coincide with the Toques et Clochers wine festival, this trip will require exceptional self control and stamina.  I'm not sure we've got much of either but we'll be spending some time in beautiful Limoux and what can possibly go wrong?
